Vendor Rules & Info
The Refined Farmhouse Market
Vendor Rules & Information
Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at The Refined Farmhouse Market! We love bringing together talented vendors, small businesses, and our community for a great shopping experience.
Please read all vendor information and rules carefully before submitting your application.
Juried Market
The Refined Farmhouse Market is a juried show, and our customers expect quality.
Vendors are carefully selected based on their products, quality, booth presentation, and the overall mix of the market. Your products and booth should reflect the quality of the event.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We also try to limit duplicate vendors and products so our customers have a good variety to shop.
Booth Space & Fee
A standard 10’ x 10’ booth space is $65.
Vendors are responsible for providing everything needed for their booth, including:
Tent
Tables
Chairs
Tablecloths
Displays
Tent weights
Extension cords if electricity is requested
Any other supplies needed for your booth
Your entire setup and merchandise must remain within your assigned 10’ x 10’ space.
All tents must be properly secured with weights.
Booth Appearance
Because this is a juried market, booth presentation matters.
Our customers expect a quality shopping experience, and your booth should reflect the quality of the products you are selling.
All tables must have tablecloths or appropriate coverings. Folding tables should not be left exposed.
Booths should be attractive, clean, organized, and thoughtfully displayed. Boxes, totes, extra inventory, and personal belongings should be kept out of sight whenever possible.
Your booth should be well represented and professionally put together for the entire event.
Electricity
Electricity is available for an additional $20.
We have a limited number of spaces with access to electricity, so electricity must be requested in advance and is available on a first come, first served basis.
If you need electricity, please indicate that on your application.
City of Semmes Vendor License
Each vendor is responsible for contacting the City of Semmes and obtaining any required vendor or business license before the event.
Acceptance & Payment
Once you receive your acceptance notification, you have 7 days to submit your booth payment and secure your space.
If payment is not received within 7 days, your space may be offered to another vendor.
Your booth is not officially reserved until payment has been received.
Please do not send payment until you have received notification that your application has been accepted.
Forms of Payment Accepted
We accept:

PayPal
Venmo
If paying through PayPal or Venmo using the business payment option, please add an additional $5 to cover the processing fee.
Setup & Breakdown
Vendors must arrive with enough time to unload, set up, and be completely ready to sell before the market opens.
Setup times, unloading instructions, vendor parking information, and other event details will be provided prior to the market.
Early breakdown is not permitted.
Vendors are expected to remain completely set up and open for business for the entire event.
Advertising the Market
We put a lot of time, work, and advertising into making our markets successful, and we ask our vendors to help us spread the word too.
All accepted vendors are required to advertise and share the event on their social media.
We will provide event information and graphics that you can share.
The more we all promote the market, the more successful it can be for everyone.
Sales Tax
Vendors are responsible for complying with all applicable sales tax requirements.
Outdoor Market & Weather
This is an outdoor market and will only take place weather permitting.
We will monitor the weather closely leading up to the event.
If weather requires us to cancel or reschedule the market, vendors will be given at least 24 hours notice whenever possible.
If The Refined Farmhouse reschedules the market due to weather, your booth fee will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date.
If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, your booth fee may be transferred one time to a future The Refined Farmhouse market.
Vendor Cancellations
We understand that life happens and sometimes plans change.
If you are unable to attend the market, we ask that you give us at least two weeks notice.
If you cancel at least two weeks before the event, your booth fee may be transferred one time to another The Refined Farmhouse market.
If you cancel within two weeks of the event, your booth fee will be forfeited. No refund or transfer will be given.
Booth fees are nonrefundable.
No Shows
If you do not show up for the market and have not contacted us beforehand, you will not be invited back to future The Refined Farmhouse markets.
We carefully select our vendors and plan the market layout around those who have committed to attend. An empty booth affects the overall appearance of the market and the experience for our customers and other vendors.
Vendor Responsibility
Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, tents, tables, displays, equipment, money, and personal belongings.
The Refined Farmhouse is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise or personal property. We are also not responsible for damage or loss caused by weather, wind, rain, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Vendors participate at their own risk and are responsible for properly securing their tents, displays, merchandise, and equipment throughout the event.
The Refined Farmhouse is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage that may occur within or as a result of a vendor’s booth or setup.
Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth area clean throughout the event and removing all merchandise, displays, and trash when leaving.
Vendor Agreement
By submitting an application to participate in The Refined Farmhouse Market, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to follow all vendor rules and requirements.
Failure to follow market rules, leaving early without approval, poor booth presentation, or failure to fulfill vendor responsibilities may affect your eligibility for future markets.
We appreciate the time and effort our vendors put into preparing for our markets. Our goal is to create a quality, well represented event that our customers look forward to attending and our vendors are proud to be a part of.
